Beeswax (organic) (Cera alba)
The wax is obtained by melting the walls of the honeycomb of the bee, Apis mellifera, with hot water and removing the foreign matter. Beeswax is included in our products to provide a protective coat on the skin.
Has a protective action, and helps to make skin care products water resistant. We use it in our lip balms.

Beeswax golden amber colour, makes bars softer to touch pleasant scent of honey, valued for emulsifying creams and ointments. For hand milled soaps or melt and pour soaps add small quantities at beginning of process, stir well otherwise it creates hard bits. If you take to much the soap goes to soft. It can make the soap lather less.
